Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang was formally outdoored as the running mate for former President John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming 2024 elections.
The announcement took place at the University of Professional Students Association-Accra (UPSA), where Professor Opoku Agyemang expressed gratitude for the opportunity to join the presidential ticket once again.
In her remarks, Professor Opoku Agyemang thanked John Mahama for selecting her as his running mate and outlined her vision for the future.
Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang highlights projects executed during former President Mahama’s administration, drawing comparisons to the current government. She underscores Mahama’s commitment to the people’s welfare, citing his leadership with a focus on public interests.
However, she did not shy away from criticizing the incumbent Akufo-Addo administration, citing poor performance as a key concern.
She emphasized that there will be no unfulfilled promises such as the commitments to establish one village one dam, one district one factory, building 350 secondary schools from scratch, among others.
